You should pass a small gated area on the right. Continue on and head left when the path splits into left and right. Exit the cell and head straight, then turn right at the junction. Once you wake up and can move, go over to the gramophone and turn the handle until it stops. The achievement should unlock now, or should have unlocked already: Once so, head in the door on the right, then up the stairs. Now just wait in this room until the walls re-open. In this corridor, head straight, then left, then right, then second right, then first left, then right, then left, then left, then right through the door. Turn around and head through the door on the left, past a gramophone. There’s a note by one of the graves – N#9 (“Opened letter”). ![]() Once in, head forward through the door and check the alcoves on the left. Jump over the boxes if they block the path. Head up these stairs and follow the linear path. Remember to close the door again once you exit. You’ll be chased by a monster here, but you should have plenty of time. Then head to the exit door and open it with the Valve. In this room, look to the right and close the open door using the valve. In here, place the cog wheel on the open bar, then head back out and pull the lever on the left, up. Exit the room, head back out of the corridor, and then head into the room opposite. Head into the door on the right, down the corridor, then pick up and hold the cog wheel. Once through the door, turn the lever down to close the door behind you. Leave the room and back through the corridor, then use the lever on the door handle, then push the lever up. You may need to stand on a crate to reach it. In this next room, search the shelf on the right for N#8 (“Unopened letter”). Head down this tunnel and through another door. Once in the dungeon, head straight and through another door, then head into the door on the right side of the room. Once you run past the monster, head straight and then left into the Dungeon. Exit this room and head into the main room on the right, the room with the projector. In this room there’s a note on the table to the right – N#6 (“Soul Journal Entries”). Exit the room and head into the next room on the right. In the same room, look in the shelf on the left and find another note – N#5 (“Herbert’s letter”). Once in the library, head into the first room on the right and pick up the note on the table – N#4 (“Results”). Head out of the room, then left, down the stairs and into the library. Pick up the note on the small table – N#3 (“Newspaper article – 19 March 1858”). Head straight and into the room on the left. You should now be able to exit the tunnel and fall out. In the tunnel, the correct directions are left, then left, then right, then right, then left, then left. It will sound like something is chasing you, but nothing is in actuality. In the next section, you are in a small crawl space. Once the ladder is in place, interact with it and you should climb it. Once you can, open it and use the broken ladder in your inventory on the open trap door. Move a number of boxes under it so you can reach it. You should see a trap door on the ceiling. There’s another note in here – N#2 (“Billet Doux”). Walk diagonally and head to the last cell on the right side. After a few minutes, it should be gone, so head out of the cell. It won’t come inside the cell unless you draw attention to yourself. Stay in this cell as a monster will spawn outside. Head into the first cell on the left and pick up N#1 (“A New Plan”). You’re now in a large room with a lot of cells. Turn around, head straight and into the door at the end, on the left. After this, head left and pick up the broken ladder at the end of the path.
